Sam Smith and Demi Lovato are «ready» for real love.

In their dynamic yet sultry new single, «I’m Ready,» released on Thursday (April 16), the pop vocal powerhouses come together to take charge of falling in love with a special someone. «I’m ready for someone to love me,» they declare in the bass-y chorus.

The accompanying video finds the duo conquering a number of Olympian events, including wrestling, diving, synchronized swimming and more. The two meet up in an emotive medal ceremony, as a gospel choir belts the chorus once more.

“I’m Ready” is the first single off Smith’s third studio album, due out later this year.

Justin Bieber’s ‘At Least For Now’ Video Is an Epic Man Vs. Nature Battle

In case you haven’t noticed by now, there is a consistent «man in nature» vibe to a number of the videos from Justin Bieber‘s Changes album. And while most of them star JB himself frolicking or moping in the snowy outdoors, his latest clip for the ballad «At Least For Now» turns the screen over to dancer/choreographer Sean Lew, who relates an epic struggle of man vs. nature.

In the clip, Lew is seen atop a snowy mountaintop, where it becomes clear that he’s tied to a huge log as he pulls off an impressive routine while literally being restrained in the understated, but intense Nick DeMoura-directed clip.

«I’ m still in awe of how i’m a part of this series that are filled with some of the greatest movers and minds in the entire world,» Lew wrote on Instagram. «When i was called to do this song, i spent months trying to figure out a concept and story. me and nick literally went back and forth for weeks and it all came down to stripping it all down and going for something simplistic and meaningful.

«I personally spent hours and hours writing 14 different versions of a written narrative that would best fit this song. hearing this song, it all came down to his words and that was my guide to what i wanted to represent in this video. the feeling of almost getting what we desire for so long, the key to unlock our limitations. However, you realize that sometimes we have to hold back and just accept our restrictions because it’s what’s for the best at the moment. the whole world is dealing with one of the craziest challenges we’ve ever encountered, but i truly believe that we will get through this and we just have to accept the restraints that are being given upon us.»

With everyone locked down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bieber has spent his home time with a new chat show, Live With Biebs. On Sunday he invited KehlaniLil Pump, Kendall Jenner and other pals over for an hour-long edition.

Justin Timberlake, Anderson .Paak Party at Anna Kendrick’s House in ‘Don’t Slack’ Video

Justin Timberlake and Anderson .Paak — and their respective characters in Trolls: World Tour —cheer up a housebound Anna Kendrick in the new video for “Don’t Slack.”

Although the video itself was filmed in February, it parallels our current quarantined and self-isolated situation, with a sullen Kendrick (who also voices a character in the animated film) slowly brightened up by the two singers who have invaded every inch of her household.

“Don’t Slack” follows Timberlake and SZA’s “The Other Side.”  Like the original 2016 film, Timberlake served as the executive music producer on the Trolls World Tour soundtrack, which also features songs from George Clinton, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Haim and more.

The film itself was originally due out in theaters on April 10th, but — due to the COVID-19 pandemic — will instead premiere on video-on-demand on that date.

Khalid Teams Up With Dance Crew in Joyful ‘Know Your Worth’ Video

Khalid touts the virtues of refusing to settle for less in “Know Your Worth,” his collaboration with British DJ-production duo Disclosure. In the new video, the singer teams up with a dance crew, whose joyful choreography peppers the clip.

In the Daniel Russel-directed visual, Khalid delivers the uplifting track’s words of encouragement as he performs on a dimly lit stage. Dancers dressed in colorful garb reenact the sentiments of the soothing lyrics, which address abandoning bad relationships and moving toward supportive ones. “You don’t know your worth/All the things I know that you deserve,” he sings on the chorus. “Say it’s not real if it doesn’t hurt/Find someone you know will put you first/Find someone who loves you at your worst.”

“Know Your Worth” is the Texas singer’s second collaboration with Disclosure, following their 2019 hit, “Talk,” off Khalid’s sophomore album, 2019’s Free Spirit, which arrived last April. In October, he teamed up with Major Lazer for a new song, “Trigger.” The R&B artist also recently unveiled his solo tracks, “Up All Night” and “Eleven.”

Selena Gomez Shares ‘Dance Again’ Clip, Announces New Merch Supporting MusiCares

Selena Gomez has released the music video for her Rare song “Dance Again.” The clip shows Gomez decked out in a Seventies-style wardrobe, dancing alone onstage to the disco-fueled track.

To accompany the video, the singer also announced a new line of “Dance Again”-themed merch, with a portion of the proceeds going toward the MusiCares foundation. In the past few weeks, MusiCares has established a COVID-19 Relief Fund to assist musicians and artists affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic; the crisis has decimated the live music industry and cut off many artists from their main source of income.

Gomez released Rare, her third solo album, back in January. Along with “Dance Again,” the LP features the songs “Lose You to Love Me,” “Look at Her Now,” “Feel Me” and the title track. The album is a personal one for Gomez, as she wrote the lead single, “Lose You to Love Me,” with collaborator Julia Michaels after returning from a treatment center.

“When I walked in [the studio], it was literally just the piano and the chorus and a bit of the first verse and I just sat there,” Gomez told Zane Lowe. “And I tell people this, too, because it was also such a very raw moment. A, I had just gotten back, but B, we were in the bright daylight, and that’s not normally how you’re maybe talking about something like that.”

Dua Lipa recently announced that her highly-anticipated Future Nostalgia album will be dropping this Friday (March 27) instead of in April, which gave the singer time to give fans one more treat before the release.

On Wednesday (March 25), she unveiled «Break My Heart,» the album’s fourth single. Lipa then dropped off the video the next morning (March 26).

Crediting INXS 1987 hit «Need You Tonight,» the funky, retro-inspired song was was co-produced by the Monsters & Strangerz and Watt.

«I would’ve stayed at home, ‘cause I was always better alone / But when you said ‘Hello’, I knew it was the end of it all / I should’ve stayed at home, ‘cause now there ain’t no letting you go / Am I falling in love with the one that could break my heart?» she sings on the chorus.

The Weeknd Gets What’s Coming To Him In Bloody «In Your Eyes» Video

The Weeknd‘s After Hours album arrived last Friday, but if you thought you’d seen the last of his skeezy, bloody, crimson-suited alter-ego, you’re dead wrong (emphasis on «dead»).

On Monday (March 23), The Weeknd stormed back with a violent visual for «In Your Eyes,» a standout track from the album that he co-wrote and co-produced with pop genius Max Martin. The five-minute slasher is a continuation of his After Hours short film that finds Abel stalking a young woman (played by model Zaina Miuccia) through empty alleyways and packed dance floors.

Here’s your obligatory spoiler warning — press play on the Anton Tammi-directed vid now if you want to see for yourself what happens. If you don’t, here’s the gist: Zaina and The Weeknd’s pursuit brings them to a dingy boiler room, where she gets the last laugh by cleanly chopping his head off and then bringing it back to the nightclub for one last dance. As that screaming saxophone solo plays the track out, we see her dancing with the severed head as the sun rises: an apparent homage to the final scene in 1974’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. RIP Abel.

The «In Your Eyes» video comes just hours after The Weeknd shared a deluxe edition of After Hours that features appearances from Lil Uzi Vert and Chromatics, and also includes a live recording of «Scared to Live» from his recent Saturday Night Live performance. Check out the deluxe edition right here.

Demi Lovato’s “I Love Me” Is An Essential Self-Empowerment Anthem

Demi Lovato’s comeback is well and truly taking flight. The 27-year-old kicked things into motion with back-to-back performances at the Grammys and Super Bowl. The former saw her introduce an emotional ballad called “Anyone,” which rocketed into the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 without the benefit of a video or radio support. That’s an impressive feat. However, I have even higher expectations for new single “I Love Me.” Out today (March 6), it is a bop with a very important message. What’s that? Well, it finds Demi going to battle with a pesky habit of undervaluing herself.

“I’m a black belt when I’m beating up on myself. But I’m an expert at giving love to somebody else,” Demi belts out. “Me, myself and I don’t see eye to eye.” Hello, relatable content. She lays it all out on the chorus. “Why do I compare myself to everyone else? And I always got my finger on the self-destruct. I wonder when ‘I love me’ is enough?” The end result is an essential reminder to love ourselves more. As it turns out, that’s a theme she will explore more on DL7. The “Cool For The Summer” diva spilled some tea on the topic during an interview with New Music Daily on Apple Music.

“I feel like that’s obviously the goal for the rest of my life, you know,” she said. “It’s so important to always remember that. And I think because it, like I said in my song. I say, ‘Mine’s the only heart I’m gonna have for life.’ We really are all we have. At the end of the day when we enter this world and when we leave this world, our souls are all we have. It’s important to respect them, treat our bodies like temples, and love ourselves as much as possible.” Although Demi added that she’s still working on the LP, I’m hoping we get a follow-up to Tell Me You Love Me sometime this year.

In the meantime, I predict “I Love Me” could be a massive hit for her. The Anne-Marie co-written smash packs just as much personality as “Sorry Not Sorry” but feels more elevated. Could it become her first single to top the Hot 100? Nothing is guaranteed, but I’d love to see it happen. In the meantime press play and check out the equally powerful accompanying video below.

Lady Gaga’s ‘Stupid Love’ Is Getting a Lot of Love From Her Little Monsters

Mother Monster is back. And, boy, how the Little Monsters have missed her.

Lady Gaga returned overnight with “Stupid Love,” and its intergalactic music video. The Internet is loving it right now.

It’s not every day we’re treated with new Gaga music. In fact, it’s been three years since her last solo single, «The Cure.»
