Twinning! Beyoncé Rocks Matching Sparkly Looks with Daughter Blue Ivy at The Lion King Premiere

Beyoncé with daughter Blue Ivy

Like (fabulous) mother, like (fabulous) daughter!

On Tuesday, Beyoncé was joined by her daughter Blue Ivy as the pair stole the show in their matching black and silver ensembles at The Lion King premiere in Hollywood.

The singer, who lends her voice to the role of Nala in the live-action remake of the Disney classic, made her rare red carpet appearance at the Dolby Theater, wearing a custom Alexander McQueen tuxedo dress.

To accessorize her blinged-out look, Beyoncé, 37, added a pair of matching strappy heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, a diamond-encrusted clutch, and kept her hair in a sleek ponytail of cornrows braids with tiny curls slicked to the side of her head.

As for her mini-me, Blue matched her superstar mom in a tuxedo dress of her own which was also McQueen. The 7-year-old’s black jacket was embellished with silver sequins while the bottom of her dress looked identical to Beyoncé’s with sparkly black tulle.

Like her mom, Blue also wore her hair in braids but added two buns at the top of her head, which were both wrapped with silver diamond hair accessories.

Aside from her daughter, Beyoncé also had some very familiar faces show up to support her at the movie premiere.

Joining the mother-daughter duo at Tuesday’s night star-studded event was her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

Williams, 38, turned heads in a form-fitting, silver metallic dress with a pair of thin strappy heels. The star chose to keep the ankle-length gown’s high neckline as the focus of the look and did not include any jewelry or accessories.

Rowland, meanwhile, got into the spirit of the film and wore a zebra-patterned long-sleeved dress with bell sleeves.

She matched the look with a pair of Alexander Wang heels and hoop earrings, and also added a few rings.

Projections show the new adaption of The Lion King, which features a number of A-list actors voicing the iconic characters in the film, will have a huge opening after Aladdin‘s success over Memorial Day weekend with $113 million.

Last week, Disney released a lineup of photos that see the epic cast coming face to face with their counterparts in the live-action movie.

The photo of the Lemonade singer has her in an epic stare-down with her character in the film, Nala. Donald Glover also participates in a face to face standoff with his character, Simba, the protagonist of the film.

Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, and John Oliver all come together for their own photo across from their characters Pumbaa, Timon, and Zazu, respectively.

A second trio, including Keegan Michael-Key, Florence Kasumba, and Eric Andre, also take deep stares into Kamari, Shenzi, and Azizi, their Disney counterparts.

In addition to voicing Nala in the film, Beyoncé released a brand-new song called “Spirit” on The Lion King soundtrack on Tuesday.

She is also expected to sing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” with Glover, 35, on the album.

Taylor Swift ‘Has No Regrets’ About Speaking Out Against Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta

Taylor Swift received plenty of support — and backlash — when she publicly called out Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta after news of their $300 million deal went public.

But despite any negativity she may have received over the last week-and-a-half, Swift isn’t backing down from her claims.

“She has no regrets expressing her thoughts about Scooter acquiring her music catalog,” says the source. “She wanted to share her truth with her fans.”

After Swift claimed she learned of the sale of Big Machine to Braun, 38, with the rest of the world and accused the manager of “manipulative bullying” over the years via a Tumblr post, it’s been a game of he-said, she-saidbetween the singer, Braun and Big Machine Label head Scott Borchetta, who first signed the superstar when she was a teen.

Last week, the singer doubled down on accusations she made via her post that she “wasn’t given an opportunity to buy” her “life’s work.”

Scott Borchetta, Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun

“Scott Borchetta never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others,” her lawyer Donald Passman told PEOPLE in a statement.

A source previously told Variety that Swift had to sign a deal that would bind her to Big Machine or its new owner for another 10 years in order to buy her masters or the label.

Hours after Swift said she was “grossed out” by Braun’s acquisition of Big Machine Label Group and her catalog, Borchetta responded with his own lengthy statement on the label’s website, essentially accusing Swift of bending the truth.

In his letter, Borchetta, 57, claimed the deal he offered Swift gave her “100% of all Taylor Swift assets … to be transferred to her immediately upon signing the new agreement.”

He also denied having any knowledge of bullying by Braun. “As to her comments about ‘being in tears or close to it’ anytime my new partner Scooter Braun’s name was brought up, I certainly never experienced that,” he wrote. “Scooter was never anything but positive about Taylor.”

Big Machine Label declined to comment, and neither Swift nor Borchetta have commented further about their failed contract negotiations — including the specifics of any offers that were made from either side — last year.

For all the details on why Taylor Swift spoke out and what’s next for the singer, Braun and Borchetta, pick up the latest issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.

“We were working together on a new type of deal for our new streaming world that was not necessarily tied to ‘albums’ but more of a length of time,” he added.

In her Tumblr post, the Grammy winner, 29, said the deal she was offered involved earning one album back for each “new one I turned in.”

“I walked away because I knew once I signed that contract, Scott Borchetta would sell the label, thereby selling me and my future,” she added. “I had to make the excruciating choice to leave behind my past.”

Swift, whose new album Lover hits shelves Aug. 23, said learning that it was Braun who had ultimately purchased her masters from Borchetta was her “worst nightmare.”

Ariana Grande Calls Pete Davidson Engagement an ‘Amazing Distraction’: ‘It Was Highly Unrealistic’

In a new interview with Vogue, Ariana Grande says her whirlwind engagement was «was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic»

Ariana Grande is opening up about her short-lived engagement to Pete Davidson.

The couple was first linked in May 2018, and got engaged less than a month later before calling it quits in October. Their split came weeks after the death of Grande’s former boyfriend Mac Miller, who died from an accidental drug overdose on Sept. 7.

Toulouse and [ent-hotlink id="18434" href="" title="Ariana Grande"] for Vogue

In a new interview for Vogue‘s August cover story, the 26-year-old pop star explained that her romance with Davidson began after her friends convinced her to move to New York City during the summer of 2018 following her breakup with Miller.

“My friends were like, ‘Come! We’re gonna have a fun summer,’” Grande told the magazine. “And then I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction. It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him.”

“I’m like an infant when it comes to real life and this old soul, been-around-the-block-a-million-times artist,” she continued. “I still don’t trust myself with the life stuff.”

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande

During the interview, Grande also opened up about coping with the aftermath of Miller’s death, calling her grief “all-consuming.” The rapper, who died at age 26, had struggled with drug use throughout his life.

“By no means was what we had perfect, but, like, f—,” Grande said. “He was the best person ever, and he didn’t deserve the demons he had. I was the glue for such a long time, and I found myself becoming… less and less sticky. The pieces just started to float away.”

The loss of Miller and Grande’s breakup with Davidson came over a year after Manchester terror attack, when a bomber killed 22 people and injured more than 500 at the singer’s Manchester stop of her Dangerous Woman tour in May 2017.

“It’s not my trauma,” Grande told Vogue. “It’s those families’. It’s their losses, and so it’s hard to just let it all out without thinking about them reading this and reopening the memory for them.”

Following the attack, Grande postponed dates of the tour to pay respect to the victims. Then, 12 days later, she returned to the U.K. to perform in the star-studded One Love Manchester benefit concert.

“I’m proud that we were able to raise a lot of money with the intention of giving people a feeling of love or unity, but at the end of the day, it didn’t bring anyone back,” she said. “Everyone was like, ‘Wow, look at this amazing thing,’ and I was like, ‘What the f— are you guys talking about?’ We did the best we could, but on a totally real level we did nothing.”

Ariana Grande for Vogue

“I have a lot to say that could probably help people that I do want to share, but I have a lot that I still need to process myself and will probably never be ready to talk about,” the musician continued. “For a long time I didn’t want to talk to anyone about anything, because I didn’t want to think about anything. I kind of just wanted to bury myself in work and not focus on the real stuff, because I couldn’t believe it was real.”

Archie’s Big Day! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Son Has Christening at Queen’s Private Chapel

Baby Archie‘s christening was a royal family affair!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s son, born on May 6, had his christening on Saturday at Queen Elizabeth’s private chapel at Windsor Castle. The new parents chose the location because they “wanted an intimate, peaceful setting in a place with such a special connection to Her Majesty,” a royal source told PEOPLE. And the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not have to travel far from their Frogmore Cottage home, also on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The gathering was attended by around 25 close family members and friends, including her mother Doria Ragland as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton, who wore a pink Stella McCartney dress. Royal christenings are typically private, with only close family, friends and godparents in attendance.

As seen in a family portrait shared on Harry and Meghan’s Instagram account, Prince Charles and wife Camila, Duchess of Cornwall were also in attendance with Princess Diana’s sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes.

“This is a beautiful milestone and they are excited to share it as a family first and then with the world,” said the source of Harry and Meghan, who wore a white Dior dress to her son’s christening.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment,” they captioned their post on Instagram Saturday. “Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie.”

The private chapel is a deeply personal spot in Windsor Castle for the royal family. The room was created for Queen Victoria between 1840 and 1847. It was destroyed by the catastrophic Windsor fire in 1992 and rebuilt with modern updates in 1994.

The larger St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle was the site of Meghan and Harry’s May 2018 wedding. Prince Harry was also christened there in 1984.

Meghan was baptized into the Church of England in a secret ceremony about two months before her royal wedding at the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in London. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby — who baptized Meghan and officiated the couple’s nuptials — performed Archie’s christening.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Archie

The timing follows closely to the christenings of Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s three children — Archie’s big cousins.

Prince George’s christening occurred in late October (more than three months after he was born) at the Chapel Royal in London’s St. James’s Palace. Princess Charlotte‘s was held two months after her birth at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk, on the grounds of the Queen’s Sandringham estate — and very close to William and Kate’s country home, Anmer Hall.

Prince Louis was christened at the same place as his older brother in July 2018, about three months after his world debut.

Meghan and Harry shared a recent glimpse of their son on Father’s Day, posting an Instagram photo of Archie peering at the camera from the arms of Prince Harry.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Hold Hands While Out in L.A. as Romance Rumors Continue

On Sunday, Mendes, 20, was all smiles while he held hands with the former Fifth Harmony member, 22, as the two spent time together after grabbing brunch in Los Angeles.

The rumored couple was snapped showing off some more PDA, as the “In My Blood” singer put his arms around Cabello, who seemed happy and comfortable with the pop star.

Mendes was wearing a wearing black Nike long-sleeved shirt and black pants. Cabello, meanwhile, hung close to Mendes while wearing a white top under a light black jacket.

While romance rumors have long followed the duo, they were significantly heightened with their “Señorita” song partnership, which was released just days before Cabello’s split from Matthew Hussey was confirmed. Both singers have denied being a couple, with Mendes even doing so when asked directly by a fan following his Staples Center performance on Friday night.

The fan asked Mendes during a Q&A session, “Are you dating Camila?” He responded by shaking his head and putting his hands out, as seen in the YouTube video of the encounter.

Cabello, however, further ignited the romance rumors when she praised Mendes after attending his Los Angeles show on Friday.

“@shawnmendes you couldn’t be more amazing. Wow,” she wrote alongside one clip, which was taken from the audience, adding a red heart emoji.

Last Wednesday evening, Cabello was photographed walking hand-in-hand with Mendes, and the following day, the duo was also seen cozying up by an infinity pool as they celebrated the Fourth of July together.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello

The two singers first met while opening for Austin Mahone on his Live Ontour, when Cabello was still a member of Fifth Harmony and Mendes was primarily known for his viral Vine videos.

When rumors first emerged that the pair were dating in 2015, they turned it into a joke.

“We can’t do that!” Mendes told E! News in September 2015. “I mean, Spanish and Canadian don’t really mix.”

Watch Pregnant Shay Mitchell Learn the Sex of Her Baby on the Way — from Power Rangers!

«Never in the history of gender reveals have I seen Power Rangers,» mom-to-be Shay Mitchell said as the Blue and Pink Rangers duked it out

Go, go, sex reveal rangers!

Shay Mitchell learned the sex of her baby in quite the unconventional way, as shown in a video she shared to her YouTube channel on Thursday titled “Do NOT Try This Gender Reveal at Home.”

The clip begins with the Pretty Little Liars alum, 32, telling her doctor during a routine appointment that she and boyfriend Matte Babel were planning on finding out the baby’s sex later that night.

“I truly think that I’m having a boy because … just the retribution of having a girl,” a robe-clad Mitchell tells the camera further on in the video. “My parents would just look at me and be like, ‘Karma, bitch.’ It’s a boy.”

Right before the big reveal, the parents-to-be call on their loved ones to take a poll about whether they think the baby is a boy or girl. The final tally? Six to two, in favor of girl.

As Mitchell and Babel, 38, sit outside to wait for the news (as well as how they’re even going to find out!), a Blue Power Ranger emerges from an upstairs door, leading the couple to believe their baby is a boy.

But a wrench is soon thrown in the mix when the Pink Ranger appears — and the two immediately begin to duel in a fight to see whose color would represent the little one’s sex.

“Power Rangers. Never in the history of gender reveals have I seen Power Rangers,” Mitchell says between laughs and gasps of shocked delight.

The hilarious scuffle ends when the duo fall into a water fountain, and only one emerges to greet Mitchell and Babel: the now-unmasked Pink Ranger, who makes her way over and sits on their laps (still all wet!) by way of greeting.

“Is it a girl?!” both ask excitedly, still a bit confused about the outcome — but viewers aren’t left hanging, as “IT’S A GIRL” flashes across the screen, with the Pink Ranger striking a victorious pose.

After previously suffering a miscarriage last year, Mitchell announced last week that she and Babel are expecting in a surprise Instagram post and YouTube video.

“YAS queen 😍😍😍 I am so excited to be a mama with you and welcome this beautiful babe to the world!” Troian Bellisario — who welcomed a daughter with husband Patrick J. Adams in October — commented on Mitchell’s Instagram announcement.

Janel Parrish, who also appeared on PLL with Mitchell and Bellisario, added, “Congrats gorgeous!” while fellow cast member Julian Morris commented a simple red heart emoji.

Sasha Pieterse Sheaffer took to her own Instagram Story to wish Mitchell well, saying, “Stunning. Congratulations beautiful mama.”

Britney Spears Shares the Foods She Says Helped Her Drop Weight She’d ‘Been Wanting to Lose’

Britney Spears is giving her fans a peek at the produce-filled lineup of foods she says helped her lose 4 pounds.

The “Piece of Me” singer, 37, has been open about her exercise habits and desire to lose weight on social media and said in a video Tuesday that she’s been relying on an extensive chart to help her out.

“Okay, so I just lost the 4 pounds that I’ve been wanting to lose, but now these are the fruits and vegetables that I eat to keep it all off,” Spears said in an Instagram video that featured her showing off her toned stomach in a quarter-sleeve crop top.

She also included an extensive chart that offered different groups of foods recommended to help with various conditions, including arthritis, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Spears wrote in her caption that she suffers from weak eyes, stress, asthma, and headaches and that the chart “has helped me with so much of those problems …. and my weight !!! Whoop whoop.”

The chart’s origin is unclear, though many of its recommendations are backed by doctors and scientific studies.

For example, the “eyes” column lists carrots and celery, and carrots have long been suggested as a way to improve eyesight thanks to beta-carotene, an antioxidant that the body converts into vitamin A.

Those dealing with stress, meanwhile, are told to eat bananas, strawberries and pears, with strawberries’ vitamin C having been shown to reduce the effects of anxiety, according to Psychology Today.

Spears has been heavily focused on her health in recent months since checking out of an “all-encompassing wellness treatment” facility in April.

She shared a workout video last month that revealed her favorite exercise routines and explained she’d been working hard to lose weight.

“I’ve been working really hard to loose [sic] weight …. and for me 3 pounds is like 7 pounds it’s a lot,” she wrote in the caption.

“I don’t like doing too much cardio,” she added. “My body has muscle memory, cus I use it be [sic] gymnast and I can bulk up …. so I like isolated movement. The key to my workout is repetition, but that gets boring so I have a booklet I’ve made with all my favorite exercises. I usually wear headphones …. music takes me away .”

The video came after the star accused paparazzi of altering photos of her in a bathing suit to make her “look 40 pounds bigger.”

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Celebrate Fourth of July After Being Photographed Holding Hands

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s seemingly romantic tryst comes less than two weeks after they dropped a steamy music video for their song «Señorita».

Less than two weeks after dropping a sexy new music video for their song “Señorita,” the former Fifth Harmony member, 22, and Canadian pop star, 20, were photographed walking hand-in-hand on Wednesday evening in West Hollywood, California.

The potential new couple may have deliberately coordinated their outfits for the night out, with Mendes sporting a pair of black slacks and long-sleeved shirt with vertical black-and-white stripes while Cabello cut a chic figure in a black jumpsuit featuring a barely there back.

On Thursday, the duo also seemed to be cozying up as they celebrated the Fourth of July together. In a video posted to a fan account, Mendes and Cabello lounged together at the edge of an infinity pool, overlooking the stunning sunny landscape below them.

In the Dave Meyers-directed clip, Cabello and Mendes play lovers (she a waitress, he a mysterious motorcycle rider) who can’t seem to quit one another. The two meet in a club and have an instant connection as they cuddle up on the dance floor. That attraction boils over to a motel room, where they share a passionate evening — and morning.

“The whole music video was funny because we were both really nervous,” Cabello admitted prior to the video’s release, during a live chat with fans on YouTube. “I had to drink a lot of wine!”

The song — billed as a sequel of sorts to “I Know What You Did Last Summer” — was first teased back in December, when Cabello commented “IKWYDLS part 2????” on Mendes’ black-and-white Instagram photo of the two sitting on the floor of a room together, with Cabello holding a guitar.

But despite the finished product, things weren’t sexy the entire time on set. While practicing their moves for the sizzling dance-floor scene, Mendes didn’t quite grab on to Cabello’s hand during a sequence that required him to pull the singer towards him, causing her to fall to the floor.

“Remember when you DROPPED ME ?!!!!! @shawnmendes,” Cabello wrote June 24 on Twitter, sharing the behind-the-scenes footage with fans.

Cabello instantly started laughing when she hit the ground, asking if they got it on camera. Mendes was quick to spring to her aid and help the singer up, while simultaneously asking if she was okay.

“You can’t just drop Camila Cabello, you can’t do that,” Mendes jokingly addressed the camera. “You can’t do that. If I do that again, it’s over for me.”

Justin Bieber ‘Felt the Need to Defend’ Scooter Braun in Taylor Swift Feud but ‘Doesn’t Want It to Escalate’: Source

Justin Bieber spoke out in defense of his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, after Taylor Swift accused him of «manipulative bullying»

Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun‘s ongoing drama has many of their fans and famous friends picking sides, including Justin Bieber.

The “Sorry” singer made it clear that he’s sticking by Braun — his longtime manager — when he issued a lengthy statement in defense of him on Instagram on Sunday after Swift accused him of “manipulative bullying” upon learning that he purchased her former record label, Big Machine Label Group, and ultimately, her master recordings. Now, there’s some insight into why Bieber decided to publicly weigh in — and open himself up to backlash.

Since Braun, 38, has supported Bieber, 25, throughout all of his ups and downs over the years — and particularly over the last several months as he took time off from music to focus on treating his mental health struggles including depression, anxiety and ADHD — Bieber “felt the need to defend” his “friend and mentor,” a source close to the star tells PEOPLE.

“[Scooter] has been very understanding and encouraging of Justin taking a break from making a new album and instead focusing on his mental health,” the source says. “Justin thinks Scooter has a big heart [and] thought Taylor’s bashing of Scooter was unfair.”

The source adds, though, that Bieber “doesn’t plan to make any more public statements defending Scooter.”

“He really just wants the whole thing to die down,” the source says. “It’s a small business, and he doesn’t want there to be hate.”

Upon learning that Braun had acquired Big Machine for $300 million on Sunday, Swift, 29, shared a Tumblr blog post expressing her disdain for Braun and claiming that he used Bieber and on-and-off client Kanye West to bully her on social media following her feud with the rapper over the lyrics of his song “Famous.”

“All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years,” Swift wrote. “Like when Kim Kardashian orchestrated an illegally recorded snippet of a phone call to be leaked and then Scooter got his two clients together to bully me online about it.”

Swift also shared a screenshot taken from Bieber’s Instagram account of an August 2016 post, in which he shared a FaceTime call between himself and Braun — who can be seen with West, whom Braun was not managing at the time of Bieber’s Instagram post. “Taylor swift what up,” Bieber captioned the post.

In response, Bieber wrote in the caption of a throwback photo of him and Swift on Instagram, “Hey Taylor. First of all I would like to apologize for posting that hurtful instagram post, at the time I thought it was funny but looking back it was distasteful and insensitive.. I have to be honest though it was my caption and post that I screenshoted [sic] of scooter and Kanye that said ‘taylor swift what up’ he didnt have anything to do with it and it wasnt even a part of the conversation in all actuality he was the person who told me not to joke like that.”
