Kylie Jenner, 21, Officially Becomes Youngest Self-Made Billionaire: It ‘Feels Really Good’

0

It’s official: Kylie Jenner is a BILLIONAIRE. At just 21 years old, the makeup mogul has become the youngest self-made billionaire in history, and she opened up about this incredible feat in a new interview.

After partnering with Ulta to sell her Kylie Cosmetics line, Kylie Jenner has officially become a billionaire. The 21-year-old didn’t start selling her beauty products in a retail store (Ulta) until Nov. 2018, and in just six weeks, she had sold more than $50 million worth of products in the stores, according to Forbes. “I popped up at a few stores, I did my usual social media,” Kylie told the mag. “I did what I usually do…and it just worked.” Now, she’s the youngest self-made billionaire EVER, beating out even Mark Zuckerberg, who was 23 when he reached the $1 billion mark.

Forbes estimates Kylie’s fortune at $1 billion, thanks to the fact that she owns her entire cosmetics company. “I didn’t expect anything,” Kylie admitted. “I did not foresee the future. But [it] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.” Kylie started Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 with her famous lip kits, and the company has since expanded into a major beauty brand. The marketing for the company is done almost entirely through Kylie on social media, which she credits for her success. “It’s the power of social media,” she said. “I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything.”

For now, Kylie insists that she has no plans to sell her company for even more money, although her mom and manager, Kris Jenner, admitted in 2018 that the idea is “always something” they’re “willing to explore.” However, Kylie is currently focused on expanding her company even further on her own. “I see it going very far,” she gushed. “I work really hard.” This exciting news comes at quite a tumultuous time for Kylie, though. At the end of February, news broke that her best friend, Jordyn Woods, had gotten intimate with her sister, Khloe Kardashian’s, boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. Jordyn admitted that Tristan kissed her on the lips at a party, and she took full responsibility for putting herself in a situation where she was with him in the late hours of the night and early morning. Kylie has yet to comment on the situation, but has not been seen with Jordyn since news of the scandal broke. Meanwhile, Khloe admitted on Twitter that she’s absolutely heartbroken by Jordyn’s actions because she considers her “like a little sister.”

EW lanza 16 portadas para despedir a Game of Thrones

0

Song You Need to Know: Jonas Brothers, ‘Sucker

0

It’s been a long six years since we last heard new music from the Jonas Brothers, and towards the end of their run, it seemed like they had already lost the muse that made them one of the catchiest, funniest and most charming acts to come out of their class of Disney peers. It was clear they wanted to grow up: The promise rings were getting rusty, and their core audience was getting older. Within a couple of years, two of the three JoBros had scored hits that showed the inspiration they’d been sorely missing — Nick Jonas with “Jealous” and, particularly, Joe Jonas and his kindred spirits in the pop group DNCE with “Cake by the Ocean.”

But the Jonas Brothers were always built to be brought back together again. It’s all in the name and in their blood: They’re a publicly tight-knit family, as we all learned during their heyday. Even so, their first single since the breakup, “Sucker,” shows the ways all three of them have grown since their teen idol days. The eldest brother, Kevin, has two daughters with his longtime love Danielle Jonas, whom he married at the group’s height in 2009. Joe, the reformed playboy and onetime subject of some of Taylor Swift’s most iconic break-up ballads, is currently engaged to Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner. Nick, the baby of the trio, found a whirlwind romance with Priyanka Chopra, whom he married in December. With all that in mind, it’s only natural that they’ve ditched the sad-boy longing and heartbroken kiss-offs of their past so they can celebrate their respective loves with this catchy, delicious new song.

With assistance from Ryan Tedder, “Sucker” is an impeccably sweet-and-sour pop-rock tune reminiscent of the hits the JoBros churned out during their first go-round at being a band. Of course, they can be a little cheekier, sexier and more lustful now than in their wholesome youth. With less at stake now than when they first started thinking about attempting a more adult sound in their music as a group, the Jonas Brothers can have the type of playful fun that made them so likable in the first place

The album of unreleased music from “Rihanna” joins recent unauthorized records from “Beyoncé” and “SZA”.

Rihanna is releasing new music this year — but the album that popped up on iTunes and Apple Music over the weekend is not it. Still, Angel, an unauthorized record full of unreleased tracks uploaded by “Fenty Fantasia” and quickly disseminated across social media, was so popular among listeners that it debuted at Number 67 on iTunes’ worldwide albums chart. Was it a real album? Yes, but no. While Rihanna was indeed the singer on the record, Angel seemed to comprise demos and some unreleased songs that have, according to Rihanna fans, been floating around the Internet in some fashion since 2009. Within hours, the album disappeared from iTunes and Apple Music as quietly as it had appeared, and Apple has not commented on the matter.

Rihanna’s team did not immediately respond to request for comment. While the singer said last year that she had a record in the works for a 2019 release, the exact date has not been announced.
