‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer Brings on the Force

The new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer has finally arrived.

The trailer aired during ESPN’s Monday Night Football and comes nearly six months after the film’s first teaser debuted at April’s Star Wars Celebration. It picks up where 2015’s The Force Awakens ends, with Rey (Daisy Ridley) tracking down Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) to unravel the mystery of why he went into seclusion.

The film is from director Rian Johnson and also stars Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Lupita Nyong’o.

Johnson spent time teasing the trailer on Twitter ahead of its release. When Johnson was asked if fans should watch the trailer, he tweeted this: «I am legitimately torn. If you want to come in clean, absolutely avoid it. But it’s gooooood…..»

Disney and Lucasfilm are releasing Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Dec. 15.

Nick Jonas Drops An Acoustic Version Of “Find You”

Nick Jonas relaunched in mid-September with “Find You,” a pleasant addition to the growing canon of acoustic guitar-laced EDM bangers. (Take a bow, Avicii and Robin Schulz). After exploring soulful pop on his self-titled debut and dabbling in club sounds on the follow-up, the hitmaker’s latest falls somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately, it got off to a relatively slow start on pop radio and iTunes. The 25-year-old is hoping to resuscitate the single with a breezy, stripped-back version.

If anything, “Find You” sounds better without the club beats. The acoustic version has a drowsy, lounge-y quality that makes it a winning addition to any chill-out playlist. It will be interesting to see if Nick continues to promote the song or move on to the second single from NJ3. He really needs a hit to reestablish himself as a chart force after a string of underperforming singles and this doesn’t seem to be it.

It Looks Like The Pussycat Dolls Reunion Is Really Happening

Well, it looks like those rumors about the Pussycat Dolls reuniting were true. Over the weekend, a website for the much-missed girl group appeared online along with a new Instagram page. It could all be an elaborate ruse, but (PCD founder) Robin Antin is following their new social media handle — so it looks legit. Of course, The Sun broke the story a couple of weeks ago. “Talk of the girls getting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all,” an insider told the tabloid.

“They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again.” It also looks like any in-fighting is a thing of the past. “The girls feel the time is right to let bygones be bygones and put any differences they had behind them and celebrate the great songs they made.” Oh, and they are getting back in the studio. “As well as their old tunes, they are hoping to treat fans with new music, too.” Revisit one of their classic bops below.
