0

Early Bey Day surprise! The night before her 36th birthday, Beyonce cheered on her husband, Jay-Z , in the crowd at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia.

During his set, the 47-year-old “Holy Grail” rapper gave his wife of nine years a special shoutout, leading the audience in a birthday song for Beyonce.

Queen Bey was spotted dancing in the stands next to her Destiny’s Child bandmate, Michelle Williams, wearing a silver, sequin-covered top and shades while grinning at the birthday love.

Jay-Z went on to wow the crowd, performing new songs off of his 4:44 album in addition to some of his hits. He also brought rapper Meek Mill on stage with him for one tune.

The couple was spotted at the annual event over the weekend, where Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, also performed. The event was a family affair with Bey’s mom, Tina Knowles, also stepping out to support her children and son-in-law.

Early Monday morning, Tina shared a weekend shot with Beyonce, who was repping her hometown of Houston, Texas, in a Rockets jersey and jeans.

“36 years ago God Chose me out of all the women in the world to be your mother!” Tina wrote. “How blessed could i be ? Not because you are a super talented , smart business woman and one of the biggest superstars! Its because you are the kindest most generous , thoughtful , intuitive , loyal , humble , funny , grounded, grateful and loving human being. I am proud to be your mom. Happy Birthday Baby! I love you with my whole heart.”

Angelina Jolie Says She «Doesn’t Enjoy Being Single’: ‘It’s Not Something I Wanted»

0

Angelina Jolie isn’t exactly loving the single life.

The 42-year-old actress — who filed for divorce from Brad Pitt — tells the Sunday Telegraph in a candid new interview hat she is struggling from an emotional standpoint.

«Sometimes maybe it appears I am pulling it all together,» she confesses. «But really I am just trying to get through my days.»

«I don’t enjoy being single,» the By the Sea star adds. «It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard.»

Jolie has been battling a laundry list of health issues in recent years — she underwent a preventative double mastectomy in 2013, had her ovaries removed in 2015 and also recently developed hypertension and a Bell’s Palsy diagnosis.

«Emotionally it’s been a very difficult year,” she says. “And I have some other health issues. So, my health is something I have to monitor.”

The Oscar winner added that remaining positive is crucial for getting through the tough moments.

“I feel sometimes that my body has taken a hit, but I try to laugh as much as possible,” she continues. “We tend to get so stressed that our children feel our stress when they need to feel our joy. Even if you are going through chemo, you need to find the ability to love and laugh. It may sound like a postcard, but it’s true.”

The actress says that while she has no immediate acting or directorial projects in the pipeline, she does plan to focus on life at home with her six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

“I am going to cooking classes,” she shares. “Cooking is one of those things you do when you are settled in your life and you can take the time. But, somehow I am just very impatient and I am a little bit erratic. But I am getting into it now. I feel like, if I cook, the kids can all hang out. Although, they often take over and tell me that they can do it better.”

Cooking aside, Jolie also hopes to spend time nurturing her mental health and well-being.

“I think now I need to rediscover a little bit of the old me,” she says. “I think we lose our way a bit. I have had a lot happen in my life, from certain people passing to health issues to raising the children. And it’s been a very good time to absorb and develop and grow.”

“But maybe now that my kids are growing up, I am starting to realize that my own sense of play has been put on hold for a while,” she continues. “And maybe them hitting their teens is going to bring out a little more fun in Mom. So maybe I am going back. It may be time.”

Jason Derulo Dances Through Heartache In His “If I’m Lucky” Lyric Video

0

Jason Derulo is dancing through heartbreak in the lyric video for “If I’m Lucky.” Released today (September 1), it’s the second single from his forthcoming album 777, and it features writing from Justin Tranter and production from Mattman & Robin. The track finds the hitmaker looking for closure in a relationship where the feelings are still raw. “Who are you to say, that I didn’t love you?” he asks a former lover over a racing beat.

In an interview with Billboard, the 27-year-old explained that although the song was inspired by a breakup it was anything but a heartbroken anthem. “It comes from past relationships that you think most things are good, but for some reason or another, things just don’t work out,” he explained adding that “Hopefully that situation can pan out in the next life.” Pulling inspiration from Michael Jackson, the accompanying lyric video sees Derulo giving his best zombie impression as he and a horde of dancers deliver tight choreography in a large studio. Between his unsettling blue contacts and some intense makeup applications, the video is simultaneously fierce and disturbing.

“If I’m Lucky” follows “Swalla,” which featured Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolls $ign. The Caribbean-infused banger struggled at pop radio but became a streaming sensation and party staple. With a more traditional pop track on his hands, it is clear that Jason’s new album will be an eclectic mix. Check out the track’s dance-heavy lyric video up top.

Taylor Swift’s New Track Is Not Good: Listen To “…Ready For It?”

0

Say what you like about Taylor Swift, but she has an impeccable ear for pop. From “Love Story” on, the 27-year-old has consistently delivered toe-tapping, relatable anthems like “You Belong With Me,” “Mine,” “We Are Never Getting Back Together,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “Shake It Off.” Which makes the Reputation era (thus far) so perplexing. The lyrical content is alienating and the pristine pop melodies of yore are gone. I guess you could excuse “Look What You Made Me Do” as more of statement than a song, but “… Ready For It?” is equally underwhelming.

The second taste of Reputation made its debut in a commercial aired during a college football game between Florida State and Alabama this morning (September 3). On the bright side, it’s less disjointed that the album’s lead single. “Wonder how many girls he had loved and left haunted, but if he’s a ghost then I can be a phantom,” Taylor coos in the opening verse over industrial-lite synths. “Holdin’ him for ransom.” If you can get past the cringeworthy lyrics and jarring production, a cute chorus awaits. But that’s a lot of work for a minor payoff.

Swifties are the ultimate ride-or-die fanbase (“…Ready For It?” is already number one on iTunes), but I can’t help but think an album full of self-involved electro-pop bangers isn’t exactly what they signed up for. Listen to the track below.

Zayn Malik Shaves His Head Completely Bald

0

Is that you, Mr. Clean?

Zayn Malik, who is known for making some drastic hair moves, has definitely gone for a shocking new ‘do (or lack thereof)—he’s shaved his head completely bald.

On Sunday, Zayn’s mom Trish Malik shared an Instagram photo of herself, her famous son and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid. The notable black-and-white image shows the «Pillow Talk» singer going full Chris Daughtry—aka with a completely shorn head and stubble. Clearly the former One Direction member is not your average boybander!

Zayn joins Kate Hudson and Robert Pattinson as celebs who have gone crazy short recently. Of course, the «Like I Would» singer is the only who who has opted for the oh-so-smooth look!

The style comes as quite a surprise since just yesterday, the proud mama posted a pic of her son celebrating the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha with Gigi and her mom Yolanda Hadid with the caption, «Eid Mubarak to everyone… #BlessedDay.»

Yesterday’s photo featured the British crooner with a short style, but dramatically different from the smooth-headed one he’s currently rocking.

Gigi and Zayn appear to having a weekend chock full of family celebrations during the religious holiday.Eid al-Adha is celebrated at the end of an annual Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca, and marks Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son to God. The holiday is marked by prayers, gifts and family meals.

The most devout believers celebrate the Feast of the Sacrifice; animals are slaughtered and their meat is shared by family members and also distributed to other relatives, friends and the poor.

Gigi and sister Bella Hadid have rarely spoken about their religious upbringing in the past but appear to be enjoying festivities this weekend.Earlier this summer, Zayn told the London Evening Standard, «I’m not currently practicing but I was raised in the Islamic faith, so it will always be with me, and I identify a lot with the culture. But I’m just me. I don’t want to be defined by my religion or my cultural background.»
