Louis Tomlinson & Bebe Rexha Announce Duet “Back To You”

It’s official! Louis Tomlinson and Bebe Rexha are releasing a collaboration called “Back To You.” She confirmed the track on Instagram this morning (June 24) by posting a picture of the duo together. The song may or may not be produced by Digital Farm Animals (he is tagged in the post) and is expected to arrive very soon. Interestingly, Bebe already let the cat out of the bag during a TV interview in March. “I’m releasing the second part [of debut LP All Your Fault] in April and I have some really cool features and exciting things happening,” the pop star revealed.

“[There’s] a new song that I just finished with a very big… somebody really big from a boy band,” Bebe continued. “It’s a really massive record. We just finished it and it’s about to come out in a month or so.” Well, three months have passed since then, so we’re about due. Her final word? “It’s amazing. It’s probably one of my favorite songs that I’ve ever been a part of in my whole career.” I believe this will technically count as Louis’ debut solo single after featuring on Steve Aoki’s “Just Hold On” in 2016. See Bebe’s post below.

Katy Perry Makes Chart History With Third Diamond Song Award

If you believe Stan Twitter, Katy Perry is in full career meltdown. In reality, she has the number one album in the country, the year’s highest first-week sales tally for a female artist and just made history by picking up her third Diamond Song Award from RIAA. Which bop passed the magical 10 million (sales and streams) mark? Her 2013 mega-hit “Roar” – an anthem that spent 8 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated Song of The Year at the Grammys.

“Once again, Katy Perry has made history,” Cary Sherman, Chairman and CEO of the RIAA says in a press release. “We are thrilled to recognize Katy as the first artist to earn three Diamond Song Awards. Katy has a singular track record of notable Gold & Platinum achievements, and this triple Diamond milestone is now forever etched in our program’s history. Only 14 songs have earned Diamond status to date, and Katy owns three of them — what a remarkable achievement and testament to a groundbreaking artist.”

Katy was previously tied with Lady Gaga (“Poker Face” and “Bad Romance”) and Eminem (“Not Afraid” and “Love The Way You Lie”), who both have two Diamond Song Awards each.
